As a 65 year old former president of a $1B fortune 500 company, serial entrepreneur. ex-PGA golf Professional with 4 kids (ranging in age from 30 to 14) and 2 wives (one former, one current) David's life experiences have fueled a comedy career that has made him a successful stand-up comedian and sought after speaker.
David’s comedy act draws from a wealth of personal and professional experience. With material that ranges from the politics of the boardroom to the mysteries of the diaper genie, his routine appeals to a wide range of audiences. Intelligent, edgy, contemporary, quick, cynical and smart are all adjectives used to describe his comedy style. David is a graduate of the San Francisco Comedy College (SFCC). He performs regularly in comedy clubs, bars and showcases around Northern California including The Improv in San Jose, Rooster T. Feathers in Sunnyvale and Tommy T’s in Pleasanton. In 2007 David was runner-up in the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition, a competition that has launched the careers of such famous comedians as Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, Kevin Pollak, Ellen Degeneres, Mark Curry, and Dane Cook (who, by the way, also finished as runner ups). David also won the 2009 Love & Laughter Comedy Competition in San Francisco, won the 2007 Tommy T’s Comedy Competition and won the 2006 Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Competition besting 100 comedians for each title. He was also a finalist in the San Jose Improv’s 2004, 2005 and 2007 Comedy Competitions. David has featured for Richard Lewis, Bobby Collins, Christopher Titus, Jake Johansson, Will Durst, Mary Ellen Hooper and Tom Rhodes to name a few and has auditioned for both HBO and the David Letterman Show. Television and film credits include ‘Laugh USA’ and ‘Comedy Ain’t for the Money’ (DVD).
